It really isn't just for kids!
You may think that gymnastics is exclusively for little ones, but we’re here to
tell you that’s not the case. At house of GPA, we have a tonne of success stories,
and recognise the benefits of gymnastics for all ages. Whether you tried it as a child
and want to revisit your nostalgic youth, or its your first ever time learning to tumble,
this sport is a great way to keep fit in adulthood. Here’s a dive into some of the best
reasons to join one of our gymnastics classes:
Loosen up.
Over time, gymnastics can have huge physical benefits, such as improving
your flexibility, posture, core-strength and range of motion. This is vital if you
spend your days sat at a desk or your often repeating motions (and you’ll be
even more grateful for flexibility as you get a bit older).
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes.
Another great physical enhancement to be gained from gymnastics is the
increase in body co-ordination and balance. This particular sport requires
excellent control over the body’s movements, so your spatial awareness will
naturally improve by attending our classes. This can be extra beneficial to
those who are a little clumsy!
And… breathe.
Learning any new skill can increase cognitive function, but gymnastics, in
particular, will promote stress relief. This is due to deep breathing and control
being central to the practice, meaning our classes will leave you feeling
mentally recharged and refreshed.

As previously mentioned, gymnastics requires full control over the body.
Although gymnastics is primarily a fun workout, it also improves your
concentration which will have benefits across other aspects of your life. For
example, joining our gymnastics classes would be really helpful if you find
yourself constantly distracted by your phone or social media while working.

are perfect for a pre-pub workout, or midday classes if you’re looking for an activity
to do in your lunch break. Our groups range from beginner classes to intermediate
and advanced lessons too, and our coaches will provide you with a range of skills
and training routines.
