How an Evening Class Can Work For You

Achieving a healthy work/life balance can be extremely difficult. We are constantly bombarded with content on social media about how to optimise our schedules, so it’s easy to forget to take time for yourself. Setting aside a couple of hours during the week to focus on a hobby or skill can have vast rewards and allow you to express yourself in new ways.


Evenings are the perfect time to learn a new skill, as a lot of people would rather be up late than become an early riser. In fact, over 50% of young adults class themselves as night owls. Doing an evening class is ideal if you feel unable to focus in the morning and are looking for something more than simply staring at your phone for hours after work.


Specifically, active classes allow you to work towards goals that don’t take much brain power. Turning your mind off to focus on centering your body is super important to improving your wellbeing. During gymnastics, our coaches teach you the importance of balance, strength and flexibility, making it an ideal option. You’ll be learning to take control of your movements, allowing you to get to know your body better while having fun.


We have lots of lovely clients at House of GPA (along with welcoming and talented coaches, of course), so making new friends is easy too! It can be hard to branch out in adulthood, but our classes allow you speak to likeminded people who are at similar points in their gymnast journeys.
